STANDARDIZATION
From Product Maker
To Rule Maker
Aterlink goes beyond product design and development.
We are committed to building a ecosystem for wireless power transfer
and driving global standardization efforts.
We actively contribute to international standardization,
proposing frameworks that address both regulatory requirements and technical specifications.

Global Standardization
When we were founded, Japanese regulations did not permit the use of the 920 MHz band for WPT.
We led the industry in working with the government to ensure safety with existing systems.
This led to the 2022 regulatory reform. Following this change, the number of WPT stations has grown rapidly through 2025.
※WPT:Wireless Power Transmission
We joined the Japanese delegation at the 2023 World Radiocommunication Conference (WRC-23) in Dubai.
We successfully secured WPT as an agenda item for WRC-31, driving global efforts toward standardization.
As countries and regions align their proposals, we continue to promote Japan-led initiatives to build a global WPT ecosystem.

Use Cases
Pace Maker
Expected to enable less invasive implants through smaller sizing
and a life without battery replacement surgeries.
TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System)
In Europe, TPMS is mandatory for new vehicles to prevent accidents caused by tire blowouts.
Current battery-powered systems have a lifespan of 5 to 10 years and only operate while the vehicle is in motion.
- Tire pressure monitoring even while parked
- Remote monitoring for commercial fleet management
- Optimized tire replacement scheduling through data analysis
